No.
Thats not shallow at all.
Thats just something you don't want in a guy.
I'm the opposite, because I want a guy that
does the same things as I do.
But it isn't shallow at all.

I wouldnt say it was shallow, i think its a personal choice. Shallow is more like only dating someone rich, or of a certain status.
If you dont smoke why would you want to kiss someone who does? And you definitely dont want to be with anyone that does drugs. Besides it being illegal, its dangerous. Thats like saying you dont want to date an abuser...you are choosing a safer route....its a personal choice for everyone. I smoke cigarettes and try to be considerate around others who dont. It would not offend me if someone wouldnt date me for it....it may even help me quit! ;)
stick to your guns....you dont have to follow the crowd!

That is not shallow at all. That is very wise of you, you know what you are looking for and should be commended. Shallow would be if you only want to date blondes, or girls that have large breasts, that's shallow but not wanting someone with a vice is not.

Hell no its not shallow its the best thing for you NOT to do. I personally will not associate people that do drugs, drink excessively (and that includes having just one drink every day) and I cant stand smoking.

That is sooo not shallow hun, that is having preffernce and standards.
You DO NOT want to date someone who does drugs.
They will bringyou down so hard and fast it's pathetic.
I saw my friends hit rock bottom dating drug addicts and alcoholics.
I hate smoke, i can not stand to be around someone who is smoking.
My husband dips copenhagan and i hate that too, i make him brush his teeth or mouthwash before he kisses me.
It's not like smelly or anything, it's just the whole thought of tobacco.
You are not shallow.

I don't think so. I mean if you aren't dating them because you don't want to be exposed to it so that you don't get into it isn't. However, if you are doing it because you look at everyone that does em as an addict and on a lower level than you then yes it is being shallow.

Why would you want to date people that you know you won't be compatible with? Sounds like you are doing the smart thing.
Dating is different than having friends with habits you don't approve of. You can send them home at the end of the night....or sooner if they're dabbling!

its not shallow, its called self worth..and huge self steem.
to love someone, you have to take care of your basic needs, like (health).
its obvious you have to forgive some failures in your date, like, a little tummy, may be a nose you dont like very much ..and stuff like that.
you are on the right track..avoid by any means people who do drugs. or too much alcohol, and avoid spending too much time whith smokers.

No it is not shallow, you have the right to choose who you want to date and who you don't want. Good luck with finding someone who does not of those.:)

No, definitely not shallow. I don't want to date anyone like that either, and I don't. You're allowed to have your preferences and you don't have to settle for less.
