I was in seventh grade. I asked this girl to go to the Valentine Party at Disney World with my youth group and she said yes. I couldn't believe my good fortune, and I felt SO grown up as we walked into the park together to listen to KC and the Sunshine Band perform on the stage in front of Cinderella's Castle.
