definitely! 41 steals [30 more than that other guy :O] the 20 triples is truly amazing and the doubles and HR to boot!! he broke several records this year, and although [NOT howard] utley has had a great year, being out for a month hurt him a lot, and with rollins at the head of the lineup - he just fires up our team and starts them off with first inning runs. he is a true inspiration and has led our teams through every single injury. if those guys who vote have any brains, let alone eyes, he'll have it hands down.

to those that pronounced that Rollins's RBI finished is marvelous for a lead-off hitter of course hasnt been gazing the Phillies play a lot. Rollins has spent a sturdy area of the season batting 0.33 and fourth, particularly early on whilst Howard became out. various his RBIs got here in those RBI spots. the only shortstop between the suited bunch (Ramirez, Reyes, Rollins) to play interior the leadoff spot in each and every interest of the season is Reyes. The others have all spent substantial time someplace else. That being pronounced, Rollins additionally performs in a park the place pop flies are abode runs. In the different park, he'd have approximately 0.5 the abode runs and 20 or so fewer RBIs. yet even ignoring the actuality that he performs in a park in simple terms somewhat better than a splash league park, he can no longer win. Utley and Howard are the two going to scouse borrow various votes. in fact, all 3 of them might take sufficient votes that none of them win and the award is going to a guy on yet another team, consistent with possibility Prince Fielder or Jose Reyes. All that aside, i think of Chase Utley merits the award way better than Rollins. yet once you're of the college of concept that the MVP might desire to come from a playoff team (that's stupid), than not one of the lads have a great gamble using fact the Phillies won't make the playoffs.

yes i think Jimmy has a very good chance at MVP. he is getting a lot of attention because the Phillies made it to the playoffs, and becasue he declared us the team to beat in the NL east. Lets just hope that the Padres can win tonight because then Matt Holiday will lose some of the spotlight.

I think the fact that both Howard and Utley had good years will work against Rollins.

He should be in the top five but he won't win it. My top pick would be Matt Holliday 340-36-135 with 214 hits and 11 SB's. He was the spark plug for the amazing season put up by the Rockies.

Well, he struck out four times at the game I was at in Denver at Coors Field this summer, left a bunch of runners on base. He did hit a home run with no one on and they lost 8-2.
