to america after he feard they will induct him into nazi army into world war 2? this is a most confusing statement. why did he run away from nazi germany when he feared he will be inducted into army? he disliked millitary service? he was jewish? he was a christian who disliked nazi german attitude towards jews? also tell me if he was indeed jewish, based upon your knowledge and not just these very confusing lies from wikipedia. thank you.

eager to escape the nazi regime.

There are unpatriotic individuals in all nations, including the USA. All that anti-American hate given by Americans who wouldnt want to be anything else.

Maybe he feared service, death, or maybe he had moral issues with the government.

Not all Germans were Nazi's, you know. Nazism was the philosophy of the man in power, and those allies he inducted and trained to his cause.

Not every German citizen was an ardent supporter of Hitler and his Nazi party.

He probably didn't want to be "drafted" into their encryption program; he was a mathematician, after all.
