The cory, shark, and cat fish won't get pregnant...they're egg-layers. But you can entice them to lay their eggs out of season by raising the heat in your tank a couple of degrees. The platty and guppy will be quite swollen and have black dots on the underside of their belly close to the tail. That's actually the eyes of the babies inside them. Good luck!

Platies and guppies are easy; as livebearers, they're pretty much always pregnant. The only way to keep them NOT pregnant is to never, ever expose them to males.
Cories are egg layers and seem to be triggered to breed by rains. (I think that's because the fry need cleaner water than the adults.) My cories used to spawn every time I changed the water, but stopped when summer came. So, I believe that it's a slight temperature *drop* that triggers them, not an increase.
I haven't ever kept sharks or talking catfish, but they're all cats like the cories, so it might be similar.

some are and a few are not. you could no longer make a blanket fact approximately all females of any race. elegance is thoroughly subjective and interior the attention of the beholder. countless the folk listed right here are being very stereotypical, even people who're being complimentary. All black females have not got extensive noses or thick lips or an identical texture of hair or gleaming epidermis or huge butts or maybe dark epidermis. almost all of black individuals are mixed race despite in the event that they do no longer seem to be to you - that is explanation why maximum black individuals do no longer look like Africans. i do no longer understand what females people who've spoken on own hygiene are putting around yet perhaps you will desire to locate a greater perfect style of people to affiliate with.

when fish get pregnant the stomach becomes large and box shaped. also they get a dark spot at the back of their stomach, this is called a gravid spot. but different types of fish have different pregnancy periods. the best way to see if a fish is pregnant is to get two females and compare them together.hope this helps
