Most White Castle restaurants are open 24/7 typically only closing for Christmas. Sliders or mini-burgers is their claim to fame. One White Castle Hamburger or Whitey as I grew up calling them is about $0.50 -- but most adults need at least 3 to fill them up -- and I know many guys who brag of being able to eat 10 or more in one sitting. All of their sandwiches are mini. They also offer cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, and fish sandwiches. They have crinkle cut fries, onion chips, mozzarella sticks, and chicken rings. They have a breakfast menu too. In general their prices are a little high considering how much food an average person orders -- especially if you're doing anything other than just hamburgers. Usually when my husband and I go we spend between $10 and $15 with sides and drinks. At most White Castles you're sure to find people who have been drinking if you visit late, as it's a popular stop after the bars close.

White Castle is good. They only have it in the North. Since I moved to Florida I have had to deal without and Krystals does not compare. If you want to try it out before you make the trip try the frozen food section at the grocery store. But be careful you only need to let it cook for a minute and a half with the wrapper still on but open on one end. When finished use a dap of ketchup and mustard. To get the total effect of White Castle's pick up a box of onion petals also in the frozen section with the pizza's and frozen appetizers.

There is no way to fully describe what a White Castle is. Do not drive that far to go to one. But if you have any other reason to be in that area, You gotta stop.
White Castles (aka "belly bombers") are best after about 6 or 8 brews at about 3 am. About 6 of them with an order of cheese-fries and a black coffee.
Indescribable!!!!

White Castle, famous for their "Sliders", is known for making small square low quality burgers with 5 holes in the meat loaded with onions between a greasy bun. They are called sliders because not only do they slide in, they slide out just a few hours later, creating a laxative effect. Most lower-income cities have them and they are quite popular with the urban sector. Most of them are found in the rust-belt industry cities such as Detroit. A popular and common choice is a bag of 6 sliders with fries.

They are nasty. Not worth a trip accross the street for them in mt opinion. Some people however just love them and can't get enough of them. There is even a white castle turkey stuffing that some people use. YEUCCH!

Burgers are like 50 cents each. They are the best. Try the jalapeño burgers. Be warned though. We call White Castle burgers "sliders" because the slide right in and slide right out. I'm talking about diarrhea.
