what family do pheromones belong to?

alcohols, ketones....etc I see that there are many different types does this mean that pheromones are its own different family:???

Nice one! I don't think they have one. All I know is they are odoriferous compounds (some volatile, and some not) that allow a form of communication between individuals of a species.
