its a fun movie, definately a B-Horror, kind of like the Blob, or Attack of the Killer Tomatos, that kind of fun..
its a dessert kind of treat, that acts like a parasit in the body. I remember the line " Are you eating it or is it eating you?"..

You want a good B Horror movie? Check this out:
Bruce Campbell from the Evil Dead trilogy stars as Elvis in a nursing home. The story is that Elvis and JFK (don't ask!!!) have to save the nursing home from a Mummy who sucks souls out of peoples as**s.
Its called Bubba Ho-tep.
Also strongly recommend the Evil Dead Trilogy!!!

A classic? That might be stretching it a bit, but it's a fun movie. It's definitely one of the most original movie ideas ever done.
If you like the low budget classic stuff like me, check out DEADLY SPAWN. It shows you what wonderful stuff can be done on almost NO budget. Great gory fun.

It was a bit gross for it's time. but it put me in mind of the Blob. I think you would find it quite interesting for an older b-rated horror.

I too had my doubts when this was first released on video and it was actually a good fun film.
