Help me out with my literature homework? We have to right a sarcastic "how to be cool" essay. Any funny ideas? So far I've started out with a nerdy kid trying to explain how to be cool, such as listening to "hip gangstafied music" and making sure to "speak the lingo" but i can change it around a bit. thanks a lot!

I think in order to be sarcastic you have to write what so-called "cool" people would really do, but in kind of a mean way.

For example:

If you really want to be cool, ignore 3/4 of the student population. This will show how much above everyone else you are.

If an "uncool" person tries to talk to you, completely ignore him/her.

etc etc

Make sure he uses words like 'hip and happening in a far out way'. Think Brady Bunch, infact, maybe you should watch the movie for a few tips. Give him a 'groovy' walk. Give him 'some cool shades - Raybans!', make him learn off the words to 'cool' songs and sing them when girls are around. Take him out in his mate's convertible and pimped up car, were they can turn the music up loud and bop to the music.

I would write it from my own point of view instead of the point of view from someone else because it would sound better and more genuine.
