He is too good to be held down forever. Someone will pay at some point in time.

A-Rod will wake up out of his playoff funk and rise into baseball legend like a phoenix reborn.
Are you serious? Just because we are fans does not mean we know what A-Rod is doing to prepare. No one can predict what a player will do because there are too many variables in this situation.
Though I stick by my former prediction. I think he's struggled long enough. It's time for him to shine.

It took A-Rod a few years to perform in New York, (2, winning '05 MVP) and a few more to be great in New York (4, winnig, well he will win the '07 MVP) I think that he will be able to perform in New York after 3 playoff years, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was more like 05 A-Rod rather than '07.

We'll see in time. If he has any intestinal fortitude he will.
I'm sure that the Indians pitching will be too much for the Yankees to overcome. They won't get past the Tribe.

He's had a great season, however he will go up against argubly the 2 best pitchers in the game. I don't think he will choke but I will be surprised if his batting average goes above .270.

Yes. All year long, unlike the last three seasons, he has been playing as if he wants the pressure. Time for him to make all that "best player in baseball" crap NOT be crap. Title 27 is on the way.

I sure hope he plays well! If he doesn't perform the Yankees' chances go way down.
