True. But, by the same token, yes-people about do me in. If you don't agree with them, you are being negative.

I don't agree. I think of energy levels and fun and attitude as 3 different things. Positivity is generally just delusion - it gets way too much credit - when it comes to what you believe. You should be fun to be around (which I am) and have energy for living to the limit but I am very negative (cause I am not stupid - and I am generally right by my negativity!)

Enthusiasm is the most contagious of energies. Positive energy, like laughter, spreads easily. I try to remember the good tings that happened each day. People are so quick to say that they had a crappy day, or that their weekend sucked. However, if you practice focusing on positive events then the negative stuff becomes less meaningful. One is able ot overlook the negative events just as they previously overlooked positive events. It is a matter of choice. Your destiny and state of mind are products of the choices you make.

Not always. Sometimes it's exactly the other way around. It depends on my own mood, I guess. Sometimes an energetic, positive person just makes me feel even more tired. Sometimes a negative person relates so well to my problems that I feel better after sharing with them. But a chronically negative person does seem to make everybody around them miserable for the most part. Still, those perpetually effervescent types can make ya want to swat them... you know, like a terrier that won't quit bouncing?

No. I have a philosophy that people whom think positive all too often don't get their way. Most of the time they don't. I keep a negative frame of mind constantly in case the positive happens then I'm surprised something actually did go right. If the negative happens, no harm done. No shocker or disappointment.

Yes! I've slowly eliminated the consistantly negative people from my life. I find I have more energy and its much easier to stay positive!

Positive energy brings positive thought and a much happier life.

Positive people do give me a lift, negative people go in one ear and out the other.
It amazes me the number of people that do nothing but moan and groan and never satisfied or happy. Life is to short for the negative(I realize everyone has a bad day on occasion), and life has to much good to offer, get all you can out of it.

I'm very seldom around negative people. It's the choice I've made, but negative people basically inspire me to stay positive.
