who else has seen it and how do you feel it measures up against original?
we saw it last night at drive in. we loved it.

i thought it was incredible, rob zombie is a genious, the original is a classic but it seemed like a completely diiferent movie with rob zombie in a good way, it really suprised me that dr.loomis was killed off, i liked how it went back and showed u every thing leading up, i luv both movies

I saw it.
I don't think its fair to even compare it to the original- they're two completely different movies. He had an interesting twist on a classic horror movie- he made Michael Myers character a little deeper and more sadistic. The characters in the original were a lot better, in my opinion- I was NOT fond of the people he chose to play Laurie Strode and her friends. I think he twisted the family history of the Myers' a little too much. The original will always stand out as more original.

I think it was more of a cheap porn then a thriller. There was no suspence at all. I liked the begining and the story line of Micheal but after that it all went to crap. I also didn't like the way they made his family out to be such crap. It wasn't like that in the original. I wouldn't see it again that's for sure!

we have seen it and we really enjoyed it! i love the way they have focused much more on Michael s childhood this time, much more interesting! we also liked the original but were not in the slightest bit disappointed with the new re make!

& not really sure that
I want to see it.
I understand why Miohael kills,
that was explained in the original.
I don't see, how,
it is going to be better.

I saw it was pretty great but it doesnt add up to as near as good as the old one. Its a classic!
