Im 19 yrs old and I need to rent a car. Does anyone know where I will be able to go to rent one ??Please help?? I live around the Lake county area in ILLINOIS. Thanks!

Although most places require you to be 25, there a few companies ( I believe Hertz and Enterprise) that rent to people who are at least 18. I know there is a a bit more of a fee, but call the 1-800 numbers and they can help you out. Good luck.

The best advice is to try to make the rental with an over 25 yr person and then to add you as additional driver some companies may be able to do it. Call first. It is really difficult to rent a car if you are under 21 yr. Good luck

Many car rental agencies will allow a person under 25 to rent as long as you purchase some additional insurance. Just give a company a call and ask.

99.9% of car rental companies require a person to be 25.

As far as I know they all require you to be 21 min. and charge and extra fee if you are 21-24 years old. Sorry...
