It depends on what youth you are referring to? Every person is different. You can't just sum up youth into one box and say they all have too much freedom. Also, freedom of what? Freedom to vote, freedom to drive, freedom at home with their families, freedom in school outside of school in their communities??

I think that Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf" discussed this topic.
If you're facing someone that is arguing that youth have too much freedom, and you can find a passage on the subject in Mein Kampf, you can pretty much obliterate their credibility by associating his ideas with Nazism.
That's probably not entirely fair, but it would work.

Well I personally think that youth of today, in many ways, have far less freedom. But seeing as you have to debate from this angle maybe some of the suggestions below may help;
*Lots of households now, have two parents, in full time work and because of this they are unable to keep watch on their children's whereabouts, the way they could have in years gone by.
*Many house estates in urban areas, are larger than they were in years gone by, meaning that young people, can roam further and more freely than they may have done in the past.
*Households tend to have higher incomes nowadays than in previous times, meaning that young people, can afford to venture further than they ever could before.
*Children are not expected to remain young for long anymore, and childhoods have been shortened. This means, that parents tend to think their young people, are more mature than young people in previous generations may have been.
These are just out of my head, but I hope they help.good luck.
