Microsoft gives you the option to send an error report simply to aware Microsoft that this is happening, and to try to prevent it from happening when the new Internet Explorer comes out. It's usually the fault of the website. Try Mozilla Firefox. Much more reliable, faster, and more user-friendly. And the best part: It's free!

The report isn't suppose to fix anything, either the people down at IE ignore it, work on a bug that you sent, or just plain leave it there and forget about it.
I've used to have this problem, but i had a new computer afterwards.
Try scanning your computer for viruses or software that modfies your Broswer (software that mods the IE sometimes has bugs and will cause it to crash due to a "inproper code.")
IF you dont find any viruses or you didn't get software that mods IE, then consider unistalling IE. Download the latest IE version, save onto your comp then unistall IE. (This makes sure you dont end up having no backup IE to have.)
Just install the latest IE and hopefully the problem will be fixed.

Thats Internet Explorer for you. Try Firefox, a lot like IE but stabler and less likely to quit unexpectedly.
If you want to keep IE, try running Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmentor (both located in System Tools within Accessories on Windows XP), it may solve the problem.

the computer works by switching on and off micro-miniature switches...many times smaller than the thickness of your hair. These "Bits" as they are know, can at time switch or Flip on their own, for various reasons, including static electricity. When they flip, the system can no longer function, as the data is corrupt. That is a problem that at present cannot be fixed, especially when using the Internet, for if data being transferred into your system does not get their 100% clean, the program locks-up, and has to shut down. They cannot fix this, as they cannot shield computers from all things capable of flipping bits...it just happens.
That was as simple as I could make it...

There are plenty of reasons why this could be happening. Most likely some sort of spyware. Scan for viruses and spyware in safe mode (which can be accessed by pressing F8 repeatedly on your keyboard as your computer boots up). Also, try simply Google searching the error you're getting.
Is your computer behaving normally other than this? If it's not, it's possible the two issues are linked.

As well as several thousand users including me, but with all the reports that Microsoft is receiving, they will make patches and patches until a more stable IE comes out. Don't worry just reinstall the IE7 again and it'll work fine...for now.

That's an Internet Explorer crash. You might have a virus or a bad plugin. Try reinstalling Internet Explorer.
