I'm gay and out about it. The 'bikinis' are more of a low-rise brief.. I like really low rised things..
If they were truly an abomination, hanes probably wouldn't sell them.

How old are you? Perhaps you can just tell your mom that you feel funny about her buying your underwear now and maybe she will just give you the money to do it yourself.
And yes, she might freak out about you wanting bikinis, only because that would imply that you want someone to see you in your underwear...and that would imply that you are sexually active (or want to be)...and I'm sure your mom doesnt even want to think about that!

I dont know what I would say if a boy wanted bikinis. I think I would be a little freaked out. I also would rather shop at kohls then walmart but that is just me.

Those are briefs there not necessarily bikinis LOL! It doesnt matter whther youre gay or not just tell your mom you rather wear thse because there more comfortable then youre other ones and if there cheaper you could throw that into it.

are there even such things as "mens" bikinis? you mean like speedos? i think it would fine to ask her to get them from walmart, but why would you need a speedo? they are never and will never be hot on a guy so I woudn't even look at them if i were you. Even if you do have "the body to flaunt them"

You must be gay because bikinis for men screams HOMOSEXUAL. If you're not gay, I would highly recommend boxers instead because the ladies dig them and they also give you more freedom and don't affect your fertility later in life.
