There's all kinds of good Halloween music out there. It just depends on your tastes. You could use soundtracks from scary movies, you could try something like the original cast recording from "Phantom of the Opera," or you could take Rob Zombie's idea and get a bunch of old surf-music inspired Halloween music, like the stuff you hear in the opening theme song of "The Munsters." Of course, there's always the novelty classic "The Monster Mash."

There are plenty of Halloween cds out at this time of year. Some are strictly sound effects cds, some or sound effects and orchestrational music cds, some are for kids parties, and some are for more teen and adult tastes. You can find all kinds in stores like Target and Wal-mart, but the best selections would be in music stores and party stores.
Personally, I go for things like "Monster Mash,"
"Ghostbusters," "The Addams Family," "Werewolves of London," "Bad Moon Rising," Chopin's Funeral March.
