So I have decided to get a breast reduction.
I am currently wearing bras sized 36 DD but even those seem to be a tad small. I need help deciding what size is best for me.
I am 5'2 135 pounds measure bust 36dd waist 29 hips 39. I have an hourglass shape.
I don't want to go too small as I don't think that would like too great on me. I was thinking maybe around size 36 d?
Also, if I get a reduction my numeric size [36] wont go down right ?

Any help would be awesome!

First go get professionally sized from Nordstroms JCPenney or Sears (NOT victoria secret they suck at sizing).

After you get your true size, then figure out how you want to go down to.

Personally I went to a C cup from a J cup. I figure a B or C will do, but it depends on your frame. Some girls also go down to a D cup.

The band size shouldn't go down unless you lose weight. The cup will.

I had it done Feb 2006 and do not regret it one bit.

I have more information for you if you want to send me your email.

If i were you i would go down to a small c, i am getting a breast reduction done (i go for the consultation in a few weeks), but i am also 5'2" and i currently am a 34F, i thought i was a 38 DDD but i went to lane bryant and found out differently
your band size shouldn't change just the cup size
also... from the women i have talked to, they all wish they could have gone smaller than what their doctors did.

i am that same size. i wish i wear back in a C cup. because running is horrible even with the best sports bra. i do not think the 36 will change too much that has to do with how big you are around and the cup has to do with actual breast size. maybe if you lose weight (not that you need to ) the numeric size will decrease.

i would go with a 36 C. I'm 5'2 also, and weigh close to the same as you as well. I like a 36 C will be more proportional to your body. good luck!

I bet a c cup would look fantastic! If you're getting them reduced, is it because of back pain? (I have that and I'm an F - looking into getting my reduced) If it is because of back pain, a d may still be too much, so, I would say a c. The best I ever looked was at a c with my curves. You know what would look best, so take your best girl friend and see her thoughts and yours.
