11x - 2y = 3
15 + 3 = 18
7x + 11x +2y - 2y = 18x
18/18 = 1

11x-2y = 3
take the 2nd equation:
11x = 3 + 2y (the 2y becomes a positive as you've
crossed it over the equals sign)
therefore 2y = 11x - 3
then take your 1st equation and subsitute the 2y for 11x-3
7x + 2y = 15
7x + 11x - 3 = 15
18x - 3 = 15
18x = 15 + 3
18x = 18
therefore x=1
then just put it in tou either equation to get y eg 1st equation:
7(1) + 2y = 15
2y= 15 - 7
2y = 8
y = 4
hence
x=1 and y=4

7x+2y+11x-2y=18
