Once upon a time they were the Strongest team but why not today?
I dont wana ask why arent they playing well cus every team faces this kind of situations MOST OF THE TIME, but wanna ask what do they have to do to come back to normal because day by day they are going down & down...
Dont they realise their mistakes & work hard???
Even the Westindies team...
What could make them work hard & play well???

Hi, The teams like England and West Indies need to get out of a mental block. They need to believe in themselves that they can beat any side. I see that there is lack of agression from both Eng and WI. One comprehensive victory should be followed by one, if they have to feel confident about themselves and come back to form in competitive cricket. One comprehensive victory will be of no use, if it is followed by a comprehensive defeat. I think both these teams need to get more agressive, get their basics right, and everything will follow automatically. The players need a good psychologist to take them out of the mental block and possibly also indulge them in meditation and other stuff which makes a person mentally strong.
I have a nice idea: :P :) Why not have a series between WI and Eng? One of the team is gonna win. So, atleast one team will come out of their mental block feeling confident after they win the series. :) lol....

Soccer & other sports attract English people I guess & cricket is an unpopular sport in England now days. Only Indians, pakistanis, & other minorities play the sport in England. However, its not that. The answer is S.L. bowlers are the best & S.L overall, is a excellent team. Since S.L won the ICC World Cup 2007 championship ater all. Sri Lanka is a great team with bowlers & batsman. S.L is just a great cricket team & England can't managed S.L cricketers.

* Attitude problem*
There is a serious attitude problem with English cricketers of today specially.
Being aggressive is Australia's natural game. England try to copy the Aussies in many ways. They have started this whole 'Mental disintegration' thing in which they are actually poor.
All their plans are backfiring bcz they are trying to do something that isn't their natural game. It's time for them to stop copying Aussies. They are not even near to them.
They should play their own game. Cheers!!!

i should say that it was a bad day for england and good day for Sri Lanka as vital England wickets were taken not by Sri Lanka's strike bowlers, but their all-rounder, I sgtronglhy feel that England team are capable of giving better performance.

England cricket has become a fairy tale..
they don't give their 100%. they just play because they has to play... they have lost their confident and pride too..
they have forgotten what are the capable of..
they has to realis they are not playing for them they are playing for their country, for their pride once they had..
They need players like Ian Botham, David Gower......
WI also the same... their cricket also becom a fairy tale...

england is getting dumb and dumb i dont know how they defeated india in natwest odi's and lost test series in which they are at 2nd place........need to improve....they are talented but the problem is only 1 players plays in each match and he cant do anything alone..need a partner..like Bopara played today but didnt got much support from the other end
