From Billings Montana you can take Allegiant airlines. They offer direct flights to Vegas. Good rates. They are the only airline I use when I go to Vegas.

They also offer package deals. But sometimes you can get better deals for rooms straight from the hotels

I don't think Southwest flies out of Montana

Try Allegiant like Smiley recommended but, depending on the price it may be cheaper to fly to LA and then fly to Vegas. Just keep this in mind as you look. I usually try travelocity.com to research flights and then I also check at the airport's website to see what airlines fly out of there and check their websites for deals. Always check to see if the individual airline has a "vacation" tab which might offer you better hotel rates when you book the hotel and flight together.

I won't consider March a peak period and I am sure you will be able to find great deals to Vegas. Why don't you try Priceline.com and name your low price. I am sure you will get that price. Here are some other tips I found that can save you money. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.html

If you don't want to be bothered searching individual airlines, try:

www.sidestep.com

It searches all published fares, using the parameters you give it, and links you to the cheapest one. AND I've often saved a few bucks more from there.

Try southwest.com

Also, try the various hotel casinos to see if they have package deals.
