Well, I think the tooth fairy is "real" up to about the age of 6 years old. After that, the person who loses a tooth had better have a paper route, or a job of "some" kind.

No, it's an old myth created decades ago. People used to make up stories about stuff because they had less entertainment than we have now.
You're parents pretend to be the tooth fairy. The just put money there while you're sleeping.

Yes and the reason why she takes the teeth is to recycle them for new babies - she only pays when they don't have cavities. If your baby tooth has a cavity, you need to pay her to fix it for the next child.
