If the Mets, Padres and Rockies all wound up being tied for the wild card. Would they make one team play the other two? How would they decide this? Hypothetical despite what happened.

Three-team, two-game tournament. The teams are designated A, B, and C -- there are various ways this is done -- and then the games are played:
Game 1 -- B at A
Game 2 -- C at Game 1 winner

Winner of Game 2 gets the wildcard berth.

A has two win two home games, B has to win one on the road and one at home, C has to win one on the road. Far from perfect, but about the best that can be done in the limited amount of time MLB and the nets are willing to allow.

well the mets would face the padres and the winner of that game would go on to face the rockies. The reason for the rockies only having to win once is because the rockies had the best record against just those teams. lets say that the rockies facing the mets and padres for this year, there record was 12-8 and the other two had lower ones then they would play to and the rocks would play one

i do no longer think of which will take place based on the actuality that there are head to head matchups left interior the season. If something, there'll in simple terms be a 2 way tie and that they could play a playoff interest to confirm the main suitable playoff interest.
