If you are reading email in Outlook (acutally reading an email as opposed to the email list), use 'Ctrl Shift >' and 'Ctrl Shift <' to go forward and back in your emails.

What email program are you using? If you are using Outlook, the shortcut is the Up Arrow:

If the "focus" is in the upper potion of the email window, just use the "down arrow" to scroll down. If the "focus" is in the lower portion of the email window, it will scroll down in that location.

SUMMARY: Down arrow.
