This is really good news coming out of Iraq.

Please give our brave men and women in uniform defending us from the Islamofascists who want to cut our throats or convert us to Islam credit.

And even give Bush some credit.

So, here's the 1 million dollar question.

Will you give credit where credit is due?

You have 30 seconds to answer.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Men and women who are willing to die for their country are brave warriors and to be honored.

Not liberal, just wanted to honor my own father's peers and those who followed after.

This surge isn't a Bush brain storm, like as if everybody been wrong and he had the right plan all along. You need a least twice the # of troops then we do right now to "take over" a country. What is the plan now anyway ? Fight terrorism ? Secure Iraq ? Stage a war with Iran ? What the hell is going on ?
Bush supporter's keep looking at the branch and calling it the whole tree. Save the "everything is OK" stuff. It's not.

Both major parties have shifted so far to the right in the last 15 years that Gillard is further to the right than Howards first government. People in the LNP whose views have remained constant, like Malcolm Turnbull now look more left wing than the Gillard government. Back in the day, journalists and pundits used to report on political debate. Now they appear to be shaping it. I expect the LNP will do whatever the likes of Bolt and Murdoch tell it to do.

Give credit where credit is due?

OK...64 Americans were killed in August. I'll give President Bush ALL the "credit".

988 Iraqi civilians killed (at least). OK, I'll give our president all the "credit" for this, as well.

And I'm sure that all the "terrorists" and al Qaida that we (and Blackwater) have killed were actually terrorists and al Qaida. I'll give the president all the credit for this too.

It did take me more than 30 seconds to answer, tho. I think I speak for all Liberals when I say that we give our president ALL the "credit"!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

If the US troops have to be in Iraq, I would prefer a win over a loss.
As far as credit we should also commend the Iraqis.

"In a joint statement, U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker and U.S. Commander Gen. David Petraeus commended Iraqi's security forces and its citizens for the decrease in violence".

God Bless George W. Bush, who has freed tens of millions of Iraqis and Afghans from tyrannical governments.

Thanks to Jimmy Carter, Iran was allowed to become the main source of Islamo-Fascist Terrorism.

Bush has financed this "war" through credit; the bill is due, and the note must be paid in full!

God Bless the next administration!

First off there is no such thing as Islamofascists and where you planning on going to the middle east to get your throat cut, because it happening here is pretty remote?

I hope that this trend continues....but one month out of the last 15 months does not constitute a trend or success. I personally would love to see then number of deaths of both civilians and soldiers continue to diminish and to see stability to come to Iraq. Maybe my son would then get to come home and spend Christmas with his wife and 3 kids and our family.

That is good news! I hate to see ANY of our US soldiers die for a senseless war and that goes for the innocent Iraqi civilians too. I give our US soldiers 100% credit for this. When Bush joins them on the frontline he can have a little credit, 'til then he gets nada. Support Our Troops! BRING THEM HOME!
