the scam involves an ad placed in a local newspaper for a dog then turns into wiring money via western union to a "missionary" in Africa followed by demands fo more money for non-existent puppy

I would contact yahoo customer service...they are very good about responding to you directly...and something like this should be reported immediately.

I used to report them to Yahoo but, at some point, they stopped closing the accounts. I was reporting them by the dozen but that's because I was getting as much as that.

yahoo account security
