I often think about this. My ex husband was was very well off financially. I had an affair with his mate who was broke. We are still as happy now as we were then 25 years ago. Who says money is every thing. Oh by the way he's not broke any more we just worked harder :-)

I guess we all thjink about this sooner or later. 40 years ago I wanted to work with animals, but life took a different path when I married a real loser and had to do rubbish jobs to pay the rent. About 4 years ago, (now divorced from loser for 16 years & remarried with very supportive hubby) I realised that the only person to change my life is me! Went back to college, studied hard, am now doing the work I always dreamed of! I don't know if this is where I will always be, but I proved to myself that I can change my path if I really want to.

If I would have taken a different path it would probably got me nothing but dead. I was in a bad way with drugs for a long time, I met my husband 10 years ago and it has been nothing but wonderful. I have a 21 year old daughter and it's brought her and I closer than ever, so I would have to say I finally found the path I was meant to be on.

I think we all wonder 'what would have happened if' sometimes. Especially when things aren't going quite as well as we might like. But he simple fact is that you can never know. Maybe you'd have gone to that computer school, become a great programmer, and made a ton of money. And then you'd have been going to some conference somewhere and the airplane you were on would have crashed and you'd have died last year.
You just never know, there's no way to find out, and so I don't even think about it all that much.

I know what you mean. I partied alot in my 20's and blew off college. Worked small crappy jobs till I got into Paitning. I stayed in that work till now. But the good part is I own my own buisness now so I turned my situation around for the better. Still if I would of gone to college and taken my major study would I be the same person I am today. Life's situations make us who we are today! You can always turn a situation around, like they say if you dont like something do something about it. We are exactly were we are supposed to be in our lifes today, maybe this is your time to evaluate the situation and better your life. You will find the answer. God bless, a freind.

Its never too late to restart. some time we took the wrong path and make the wrong decision. the important thing is that we're acknowledging the true and see what is wrong from right. Never too old to learn...never too late to return to your path.

no because the path you take shapes the person you are
so really whichever path you take is the right one at the time
if you dont like what you have become there`s only you can change it!
