I need to replace my laptop monitor, does a new monitor come with an inverter as well? Thanks.?

You can not replace a laptop monitor. You can replace the laptop LCD panel, but a monitor is much more than just a panel.

I would not expect a new panel to come with the inverter card.

If you suspect that it is just your inverter card that is bad, replace just that first. Inverter cards are cheap. Panels are expensive.

Sometimes...it differs with each laptop model. Some come with the inverter right on the LCD and others have the inverter as a separate piece connected to the motherboard.
