I'm wondering that same question myself. I have moved and cannot locate the installation CD that originally came with my Lexmark X73 all-in-one printer. In addition, I'm using a different computer than the one I used to originally install the software on.
I downloaded the new drivers but it's the software that I need. In the meantime I cannot scan anything (or, it's a hit-or-miss). Most of the time the program just freezes up on me.

hi phillip,you can download the drivers and software for all models of lexmark printers from http://support.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/selections.cgi?ccs=227:5:0:0:0:0&target=http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/downloads.cgi&&req=:::::,then simply using the guide choose the type of printer you have and then follow the wizard,then download the appropriate driver
some drivers come in the winzip/winrar format so make sure you have the winzip program installed on your p.c,if not you can download the winzip evaluation software from http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm
