Your friends know all your secrets. That is the flip side of friendship. The closer you are to each other the more they know and the more they know the more they judge or do you judge them?

Case we trust our best friends and give them all our secrets thus if they hurt us it will be really hard to avoid that and they become our worst nightmare

With your best friends, you have the 'most' to lose...so there is more anxiety associated with how you 'perform' in front of them. Best friends also might be more competitive because they might be comparing themselves (self-validation) to you. Hopefully, as your friendships mature, you will understand how much they accept you despite your shortcomings...these are true friends. As you go through personal trials and tribulations, you will learn who your REAL friends are...the ones that stand by you no matter what.

Because sometimes there are things you just don't want to hear.
Like for example when you've just been dumped you don't want to be hearing that your best friend is so happy in her relationship and they are about to move in together.
This particular incident has never happened to me though sorry.
