Isn't this the sort of thing that should be given out freely rather than charging. The McCann company is bursting at the seams with cash yet people who through goodwill want to distribute missing posters further are being charged for the priviledge. Does anyone know why that is?

I can understand charging for T shirts and wristbands because these are nothing but freakish and macarbre souveniers and I would question the sanity of anyone buying them but aren't posters different?

I agree that they should be given freely. The whole point of the campaign was to raise awareness about Madeleine, but it has spiralled out of control to the point where they are charging people to raise awareness about their daughter. Selling the T-Shirts is fine, but the posters should be given to all major shops to keep Madeleine's plight alive, because she is the victim here.

Your point is well taken. I've heard of raising money to make posters to distribute, but NEVER heard of CHARGING for missing child posters.

These people are obscene, and should be stopped before everyone assumes that every missing child is twice victimized--once by the abductors and then by the scheming parents.
