Pecan. In the South they say Pee Can a pee can is a toilet and a Pecan is a nut that grows on a tree people. I lived in florida for 5 yrs and it drove me batty.
Oh and I just thought of one more my hubby says Warsh there is no R in wash. I have never warshed anything in my life!!!!! Its wash.

When ppl mispronounce the name of the state of Missouri. its misoury not missourah , or Honolulu ppl say holalulu alot
or Louisville, KY ppl not from there say "louis"-ville but if from there its louuuville no "s" sound

YES! irregardless is redundant. its not even a word. i hate it when people pronounce Appalachia like 'appa-lay-sha' i have lived in tennesse my whole life and its pronounced 'Appa-lah-cha'

I hate when people pronounce the word cycle like Sacle when it should be CYcle.
and the word Wrestle like WRASSLE...it should be pronounced RESel...<--well I don't hate that so much I just think its funny as hell.

Chassis as in the chassis of a truck. They put the s sound on the end and it drives me crazy!! (Should sound like chassy.)

i absolutly hate it when people say "envolope" wrong. like when they say it like this i think it's the real way to pronounce it but i'm not sure. they say "onvolope" instead of "envolope". it drives me crazy! lol
