Maybe you could go camping for 1 or 2 nights... and enjoy each other while you snuggle up next to a campfire?

You could pack a picinic lunch and find a place to go on a walk through the woods or near some sort of scenic/nature place.

Where did you meet or go on your first date? Or where did you get married-- maybe you could revisit one of these places?

Have you considered the Outer Banks?
It's the off season at the Carolina beaches, you could probably get an awesome package deal at a bed and breakfast on the beach at any Carolina beach town, and none of the should be more than a couple hours drive from your place. With low BandB prices, you could afford a night out or two to celebrate. Walking on the beach on any day of the year is always nice. Bring your fishing gear and go fishing on the shore, look for fun boats, there's still a lot to do at the beach even in cold weather!

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.
