Simply based on who's hot and who's cold now, I'd usually have to say the Rockies, especially at home. However, since Peavy's pitching, even in Colorado, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Padres take it. My vote's for the Padres, but then they'll get creamed in the first round without being able to run Peavy out there the first two games.

Anything can happen between divisional opponents. Especially at Coors Field. I think the Rockies are the better team right now. But if Khalil Greene and Adrian Gonzales elevate their game, the Padres will win.

There is one plus and one negative for the Rockies. The plus is that they are playing in Colorado and the negative is that they will have to beat the probable NL Cy Young winner in Jake Peavy. Edge to the Rockies at home since they are on a roll.

Padres have been cold lately, Rocks have been hot.
Rockies have a great lineup and will win this one, easily.

the pads are throwing peavy with 3 days rest. history tells us that peavy is bad with no rest. peavy has a winning percentage over the rox but the majority of the games have been played at pitcher friendly petco park. with the rox playing their hearts out, look for the rox to steam roll over the madres
