A.L. - Eric Wedge in a landslide.
N.L. - I think it's going to go to either Hurdle or Melvin, depending on who wins tonight.

Lou Piniella.
Say what you want about the payroll, but remember where this team was in mid-June: well under .500, 4th place, D. Lee and Aramis struggling to stay healthy, Soriano down and then out, Zambrano throwing wild pitches at the plate and punches at his catcher.
Sweet Lou kept it together through a god-awful 1st half, then he had enough. look at the Cubs' record after his one midsummer tantrum and then tell me it wasn't calculated, and that Lou's not the Manager of the Year.
In the AL, Eric Wedge deserves it, but Mike Scioscia is worthy almost every year too.
