Chopin's "Raindrops Prelude"
It is an absolutely beautiful piece full of passion and an almost incomprehensible sense of serenity. If any classical piece would cause someone to instantly love classical music, this would be the one!

Bach. Probably, St Matthew Passion. My favourite, but there is so much good Bach.
