Pennington is accurate, but he can't throw the ball more than 20 yards. It depends on the overall philosophy for the Jets. If they want to become a passing team, I'd say go with Clemens. If they want to run more often, Chad makes more sense. They could utilize a two-quarterback system like the Cardinals depending on the situation and add another dimension to the offense.

If I were the jets, I send all 3rd string people out, hope for the #1 overall pick and grab the best QB I could. Pennington is not the answer. He had that one glimpse of greatness the year they lost to pitt in the playoffs. After his injury though, he just doesnt have the power to hit those possesion recievers downfield.
