Preparing for a callback and wanting to be famous have nothing to do with one another.
If you were called back fro a role then you should be told how to prepare. Generally you are given sides (script pages) to study so that they can read a scene with you. They may want to hear you sing again if this is a musical. They may also want to see you dance a certain combination, again only if this is a musical. If this is a straight play, they will only read the scene with you and see how you handle that as well as possibly throw a couple of suggestions at you to see how you handle that.
The most you can do to prepare if they did not give you any pages, is to know the show and the character as best you can. Read the play, study the character and her place in the story.

First, you need to learn humility. Read True and False by David Mamet. Really, if you want to get roles, you need to be a very nice person--I have worked with many famous actors and there were all very nice people. So besides a headsup on your personality, what you need to do is look forward to the opportunity to play again(for that is what acting is, playing) with enthusiasm. When you are called to audition, take your place with energy and enthusiasm, then read your part with energy and enthusiasm--do not over-act, but be interesting and exciting to watch. Never act disappointed about anything, and take whatever role you are offerred, no matter how small, with energy and enthusiasm.
