It really irritates me when people don't. I always think about how if I was waiting on an ambulance, I would want others to pull over.

Not just pull over, but stop... around here that's the law and we also have a lot of one way streets/highways and those ambulances go right down the center leaving you no choice

I pull over. I have been the one in the ambulance with a life and death situation. Those who don't get out of the way deserve to be shot on sight.

i pull over and stop. my mother always would do that when i was little...and she would say a quick prayer for whomever they were rushing to help with that ambulance. that seems so sweet now, when most people, if they ever bother to pull over, resent the time it takes, or feel it's some (Minor!) inconvenience...

I pull over but it amazes me how many people just keep on going now a days. It's really horrible. What if it were them who needed to be rushed to a hospital. They probably would want someone to get out of the damn way. Respect people.

You do what it takes to get out of it's way. Sometimes that means pulling over immediately. Sometimes it requires you to drive farther and look for a place to get out of the way. And sometimes it requires you to stay right where you are so you don't cause an accident. It takes awareness and judgment...and getting off the cell-phone.
