mercury is traded by the "flask" a unit that has a mass of 34.5 kg. what is the volume of the flask of mercury if the density of mercury is 13.5g/mL?
can you work it out, and show me how to get to the answer?

Density = mass/volume
34.5 kg = 34.5 x 1000 g = 34500g
volume = mass/density
volume = 34500g/13/5g/ml = 2555.555555....mL
volume = 2.55555... litres
