I'm reading a good one now, it is like a biography by Goldie Han, she is really a neat person, and its interesting to hear her stories, kind of a book on her path of life and the journeys she has had so far, title is something about a flower in the mud, cant remember the actual name

I know what mean when you say you need to take a break from everything so here are a few amazing books that i have just fallin in love with....."The Giver" written by lois lowery.....it is about a young boy named jonas who has lived in a community cut off from the outside world. Colors do not exist, and emotions are seen as a defect of growing up. At a sertain age medications are proscribed in order to numb these so called fits. The entire community is controlled and observed by a counsel who manualy selects every child's career based on habits and tempermat. When jonas is called upon to uphold the job of Reciever he begins to realize that things are not quite what they seem.....This book is a mind blowing combination of a mystery, fantasy, and suspence novel.......I fell in love with this book three years ago and continue to read it over and over again.......I hope this helps

I love books by Melvin Burgees
They are young adult - but im not sure how old you are.
My all time favorite is SMACK. Its about these young people that go off and get addicted to Heroin, their battle to try and live on the streets, also to try and not be addicted to it anymore. Its a really good book, it just shows how some peoples lives end up after drugs.

I would say this life changing book by Rick Warren, called " The Purpose Driven Life ". It's as down to earth a book as I've ever read. Rick Warren is just plain folks & he cares for his readers.

Gosh, I don't really know. . .I really enjoyed Bag of Bones by Stephen King, however, it is not really relaxing. The story is meaningful, but in general it's a horribly sad book about a man who has lost his wife.
