I want to make something for the girls in my office and distant relatives, but I don't really know what. I know how to make peppermint bath salts, so I think I'll do that and put it in a pretty jar, but I want to make something else too. Does anyone have any good homemade Christmas gift ideas, and how-to websites that I can visit? Thank you!

Here are some Christmas Craft Ideas - http://www.craft-kits.net/christmas-crafts.htm

Another option is you could make Peppermint Birch Bark (White Chocolate melted with Crushed Candy Cane) really easy and looks great in a tin.

Cheap baskets -$1-5 dollars, Potpourri - $2-5, Christmas ribbon $1-3, 1 string of white christmas lights $1. Put the potpourri and lights in the basket with the plug sticking out. Tie a bow on the handle. You're done. They plug it in and it looks pretty and smells great!

Do you know how to bead? You could give each one a special Christmas ornament that you have made a beaded cover for. The Christmas Spider ornament is also a fun idea. The site I'm giving also has the story that goes along with the spider that you can print out.

My little advice is to buy them a picture frame because they will need some extra frames for wedding pictures. Also write them a nice poem since they are your teachers. And wish them a hearty mazel tov from all of us at YA.
