Can I do a screen cap of a .wmv file?

I have a video in wmv format and was wondering if it's possible to do a screen capture on a .wmv file? I tried doing the [ctrl +alt + Prnt Scrn] but it didn't capture any image from the video.

You have to use special software to capture an image from video, I've found this out the hard way. I'm not sure exactly what software to use, as I use a particular video player with a codec pack, but that gets a bit complicated. Try doing a Google search for 'video frame capture' or something similar.

u can download screen capture from download.com it will capture all type pictures from all types of videos
