When do they award the MVP's and the Gold Gloves

All the awards that no one much cares about get announced over the course of October -- Silver Sluggers, Gold Gloves, the various service and humanitarian awards, the Edgar, the Hank, etc. etc. etc.
So what. No one cares about those.
The GOOD awards, the ones the BBWAA votes on so we can then debate if the writers are stupid or malicious, are announced in November. Which is all to the good, because otherwise there's not a lot of baseball news in November.
