both,( i like tgi fridays and applebees and fatz cafe), but i also like papas and beer and patron(both mexican places) and mainstreet pizza and pasta and pros pizza and old world pizza and binions and lon sen those are local ones i dont think are anywhere else

Definitely local establishments.
Some chains are OK. I'll never understand Italian food chains though. The wait is too long, and the food is much better when old Italian women are making it at little whole-in-the-wall places.

Local, the big chains serve mostly frozen foods anyway. I prefer it fresh and local.

very rarely do i eat at chain resturants besides fast food
like applebees tgif places like that i never eat at not sure why
