for the Colts? We won the superbowl and yet "The Patriots" are the "best team in the NFL? We are 4-0 also! And its has if the whole "cheating deal didn't even happen.....not a word about it...let that be Tony Dungy they would "still"be talking about it! It's pare for the course for ANY Indiana teams to get any respect. Just wondering what others thought(whether you are a Colts fan or not?!?!) Thanks:)

I think people are jealous. Despite the fact that Tom Brady has more superbowls, Peyton Manning is more likeable and is a smarter quarterback. In addition, he doesn't storm off the field pouting and not congratulating the other team when he loses like Tom Brady and Bellicek did last year when we beat NE in the playoffs. You are right about no Indiana teams getting respect. I am a fellow Hoosier, and I feel your pain. Tony Dungy, Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison are class acts. Nobody can dispute that fact.
Ohsassyo, I would love to hear an example of how you believe the NFL helped Peyton get to the superbowl. I watched every single Colts game last year, and I was at a couple of games. The NFL did nothing to help Peyton. Peyton and the Colts earned that superbowl ring 100%. They weren't even videotaping the other teams play calls either.

I'm a Colts fan and I think the reason right now that the Patriots are getting more press is because their offense has looked light years better than last years. Also, their margin of victory has been greater than the Colts. I actually like the Colts slipping under the radar. They can go about their business without anyone noticing. This makes November 4th all the more anticipating. The Colts just keep moving along and playing consistent although the D reverted back to last year's regular season D during the 1st half. I have faith that the Colts will continue to win and eventually get the respect that defending Super Bowl champs should get.

lol you wanna talk about no respect try being a seahawks fan, we never get any respect, according to the media and other fans, Seattle doesnt win there games the other teams just always lose there games.
back to the colts
you guys get more respect then any other team out there. sure the media talks about the patriots alot this year because they got moss. that and they didnt make it to the superbowl so when they have a start to the season like this year its not that expected, when the colts do it is expected, they always have seasons like this so it isnt anything new and shocking which is what the media goes for.
Peyton Manning is greater the brady will ever be. Peyton mannings 1 ring to brady's 3 will be completley forgotten about in the future when Manning breaks a majority of the quarterback records.

I see no disrespect towards the Colts. In fact if you watch a Indy game on TV the admiration for Manning and Dungy gets sickenly sweet at times but the same thing goes on for Brady and Bellichick also.
Yes both are undefeated.
Yes both are playing well.
The Pats are dominating their opponents and the Colts are playing well enough to win. It will still boil down to the playoffs between those two, they are pretty evenly matched on offense and with the changes the Pats made I'd say they have the advantage on D this year. We'll see.

What kind of respect are you looking for? The Colts will (or won't) show their mettle over the next 12 weeks. If they win, then, they're the stars for the day and then they have to re-prove themselves next year.
The Colts, by the way, do have some proving to do. They are returning fewer starters/on the field players after a SB win than nearly any other team. They lost something like 17. That's pretty "big."
There's no reason to think that they won't repeat except for the fact that every team out there wants to stop them from doing it.

Actually, the Colts have beaten some good teams (unlike the Patriots cakewalk schedule so far). They are IMO still the team to beat.
The media LOVES the Patriots, so that's why all you do is hear about them.

well colts are always good and what they did last year its hard to repeat but i agree with you colts should deff be rated number 1 its just that the patriots had a horrible ending last year and they came out firing so it makes them look good and the fact that they got randy moss i guess they are real happy but lets go COLTS
