I guess nobody likes books anymore, but 'An Illustrated History of The First World War' by John Keegan is very good

Check out the Marine Corps History on WW I. Also the Army's history on WW I through Google search. I know the Marine Corps will be happen to send you everything you want.

Another good way is to go see your Marine Corps Recruiter and tell them want you are doing. They will be more than happy to furnish you what you need, or tell you where you can send for it.
