I was texting a guy that I am really into, and I got a little overzealous and I told him that I loved him. He responded with " Hey, this is just nuts". What exactly does that mean?
This is just after last night HE texted ME and HE said: " I really want to be with you. I am crying right now. You make me so happy".
What's going on?
Did I scare him, or is he saying it's nuts because we are both feeling this way & it's weird?

Love is a powerful word that shouldn't be thrown around... I didnt say I love you to my girlfriend for like a year and a half. I mean if he said this is nuts but he told u that u make him so happy and he's crying and wants to be with you. I think he was excited by you saying I love you... he can't believe how things happened so fast. But if you haven't talked afterwards or he's being real shady now, then you scared him and he thinks things are moving to fast. But if everything is fine now then don't worry about it.

He says its nuts because you said the word LOVE.
He wants to be with you because you love him and he is an opportunist who sees it as the gold mine and just in case you dont know what the gold mine is. Well.....its between your legs. Hes hoping for some sex. If he loved you too, he would have told you so. not say"this is just nuts" His nuts maybe.

How long have you know this guy? It may have made him nervous and scared, but you should ask him anyways. Usually text messeges are not very clear, its best to talk to him in person. I know it took me awhile to say I love you to my boyfriend, he actually said it to me....and then i said love you too. It felt awkward, but it also felt good too. Okay, well good luck! ;D

ask him... if the case is he thinks its nuts that ur saying it so quickly then u lose him any ways ... if hes saying its nuts cuz u guys r feeling whatever for eachother and u ask him bout it then theres no problem
