I will be in Vegas in October with my husband and my daughter and need things to do that are inexpensive and or free and that I can do with an infant.

Lounging by the pool and short stroller walks will be about it. The restaurants are smoke free, but the casinos aren't so be aware of that. Bring things that your child will like, read to them and really, just take the time to relax.

Vegas is going to be a bit of a sensory overload for your daughter, but don't be too concerned. Little ones bounce back.

You may want to hit some of the museums, they will be air conditioned and are fairly inexpensive. You can point things out to her.

Ask the hotel if they have any ideas, believe it or not they have all sorts of ideas and can help.

Those that are judging you, aren't worth the bother. Sometimes you have to take infants with you, make the best of it.

If your hubby is of the mind...have him watch her for a while so you can have some mommy time, like at a spa, or shopping.

Some of the 5 star hotels will have babysitting services available (not theirs but a list of ones that they have checked out) That is an option so at least the two of you can maybe enjoy a dinner alone.

Relax, have fun

There's not much to do in Las Vegas with an infant. She can't go to the shows and day trips longer than 2 hours might be a bit much. You can do the Liberace Museum (which is very inexpensive); the wax museum at the Venetian; view the lions at MGM. You can also take a look at www.vegas.com for some other ideas.

Bringing a baby to Vegas is not recommended, it's far too loud and intense for them. I would not advise anyone bring kids here unless you are traveling by car and the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam or some other National Park is on the itinerary.

I must say... I do not feel people should be making snap judgments on you or your parenting skills. Whatever you work out, I hope you have a great time!

STAY HOME!!!!!

Vegas is no place for babies, for countless reasons!!!!
If you're irresponsible enough to not be bothered at the thought of carting an INFANT around a 24-hour party town (while people blow smoke in her face and spill drinks into her stroller), then at least think of her health!! It's flu season, for chrissakes!! People come here from all around the world - and bring their exotic diseases with them. An infant's immune system is in no way strong enough for this assault!!
