A number of things can delay one's period, stress, some new physical activity or a change in everyday routine, also depending on old you are there are times when it will be delayed even though it has kinda found some routine.

I must include the fact that even though im giving u advice i really think that you should abstain from having unprotected sex because the mere fact that you are worrying about wether or not your pregnant means that you are in no way ready to handle a child emotinally!!! Children should be born in stable families where some planning has been done and a child is expected!!

Please abstain from having unprotected sex!!

Please email me a week fro now and let know what happens!!!

When did you take the tests?
If you took them too soon, it could impact the results. Taking one right now (a week after your missed period) would give better results.

Sometimes though, you can just miss periods or have periods extremely late. Sometimes this is caused by stress, large changes in your life, etc. And especially since you are young, your period takes awhile to regulate.

And worrying about your period coming could also be delaying it because you're stressing yourself out over this. Honestly, going to a doctor will be able to quell your fears. If you are worried about telling your parents, try somewhere like Planned Parenthood.

the tests were negative because you checked too soon. You have to be six weeks from the first day of your last period to get an accurate result. You could very well be pregnant, or you could just be irregular in your cycle. Suggest that if you do not want to be pregnant, you not have sex. That risk is always present, protection or not. So, wait until you are fully six weeks away from the first day of your last period, then test for pregnancy.

To menstruate, the uterus, cervix, vagina and ovaries, as well as the pituitary gland and hypothalamus (which are located in the brain and control the hormones which cause menstruation), must be working normally. There are lots of reasons for these to not be functioning as they usually do, some more serious than others.

Lifestyle:
1. Major changes in your life, (new job, sudden massive workload, bereavement) can create enough stress to make you to miss your period.
2. Rapid weight gain or loss can cause amenorrhea. In particular amenorrhea is associated with malnutrition or low body fat caused by eating disorders.
3. Too much exercise, often connected with heavy dieting, can also stop your periods. Just because you're really fit, stopping your periods isn't any healthier. Periods are a sign of your body working properly.
4. In some cases heavy smoking can also be the cause of amenorrhea.

You're very young; few teenagers have regular periods. You may want to consider going on hormonal contraceptives (the Pill) to regulate these cycles and stop the pregnancy scares. Talk to an ob-gyn.

the more you stress about it, the longer it will wait to come. stress can definitely make you late. wait a week longer, take another test just to be sure...then i would wait until next month for your next one. if it doesnt come then, i would definitely make an appt at your clinic.

but i have been through that too. i really thought i was pregnant, stressed about it for a couple weeks, then it just showed up. your body is trying to tell you something, girl.

Yes, you can wait a few days/week more. Sometimes it just can be stress!
Also when you are a teen the period can mess with you like that.

If I were you to wait another week. If not, goes see your doctor. They'll put you a urine test and blood test. Your blood test will get a result with in few days and your doctor will tell you more.
